Finishing line

   A little reading habits question for you today:

do you like to finish any book(s) you're currently reading in time for the year's end so that you can start a new book on January the 1st., or does that tidying up of loose ends not matter at all? (I'm firmly in the 'finish and start afresh' camp so I'd better get a move on).
