Those of us who have enjoyed Vita Sackville-West's novel All Passion Spent may like to know that it has been adapted for radio with Honor Blackman playing Lady Slane - details here. When we read it as the Book Group's inaugural title it was on the whole very well received; I'm sure Lindsay in particular is even now re-scheduling important meetings so that he doesn't miss the broadcasts........!
Well I didn't like it much either and amazingly I'm not going to listen to it on the radio, even with Ms Blackman as Lady Slane!

Thank you for that - I might have missed it. Not being high powered I shall just have to re-schedule dog walking and hoovering!

I enjoyed the TV dramatisation several years ago with, I think, Wendy Hiller as Lady Slane. She was perfect for this role.
