I've talked about Linda Gillard's novel Star Gazing several times on Cornflower (my original post is here), most recently when I mentioned that it was on the longlist for the Romantic Novelists' Association Romantic Novel of the Year Award. Well, I am delighted to tell you that it has made the shortlist, and deservedly so!
You can visit the RNA site and see what you think of the competition, but fingers crossed for Linda and her book when the judges announce their decision on the 10th. of February.
I was happy to see that as well!

Thanks, Cornflower, for flagging this up again. Most of the press coverage has been for Cecelia Ahern and chick lit. It was interesting and gratifying to see that the Guardian Online led with the "middle-aged blind widow" angle.
It was lovely to meet all the authors yesterday. Susanna Kearsley had come from Canada!
