The gremlins are in the works today, it seems, and while I can draft a post I can't access the published site either in the normal way or through my preview function, so this is a test post to see what's happening
I hope normal service will resume soon, but meanwhile if you can read this, would you be so good as to leave a comment just so that I can tell things are working again? Say whatever you like, from a simple hello to listing whatever you are reading - apart from Monty Don, I'm greatly enjoying Rosy Thornton's Crossed Wires.
You're coming through without any trouble on this end!
My recent reads include a Cornflower Favorite, Henrietta's War, which I'm enjoying immensely a page and a half at a time before I drop off to sleep!

Coming through loud and clear here! Small Island by Andrea Levy.

Addition by Toni Jordan and Malice Aforethought by Francis Iles - the latter is slyly funny. Hope the gremlins are evicted soon.

Hello Cornflower...
Loud and clear! And a belated very happy birthday to you too.
I'm reading Jessica Ruston's LUXURY in proof. Huge fun for blockbuster fans.

OK at this end Karen - I'm almost finished "Guernica" by Dave Boling. Mum.

I'm reading another Persephone gem, The Fortnight in September. At first it seemed a bit slow-moving, but midway through I'm loving it. I hope your website stays healthy - I look forward to it every day.

I've just read Rosy Thornton's Crossed Wires too. Enjoyable but I preferred a previous one - More Than Love Letters.
