I've written about attending the Scottish launch of Justine Picardie's biography Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life over on Cornflower today.
More on the book anon, but for anyone interested in women's lives, fashion, design and influential figures of the twentieth century, this is a must!
This sounds so fabulous. I am very disapointed to find I can't get it for my kindle...

I picked up my pre-ordered copy on Saturday but so far I have only managed to have a very quick look.
I don't often buy hardback books for myself, but I felt that this one deserved the purchase because it is really lovely (although I much prefer the front cover pic on the US edition).
Hopefully I might find the time to have a proper read at the weekend!

Let's hope that in time Amazon will produce a 'colour' Kindle, and then we'll be able to enjoy beautiful books such as this one on it.

The colour electronic paper display technology is getting fairly good now. You may be interested to see this fairly recent example from Fujitsu.
