It's Simon's meme again:
The book I'm currently reading: The Double Shadow by Sally Gardner, dark and mysterious, but so good.
The last book I finished: 18 Bookshops by Anne Scott, one of my non-fiction books of the year (post here).
The book I want to read next: it's always hard to choose as I have so many good things waiting, but I think I'll be starting The Secret History by Donna Tartt as the book group will be talking about it later this month (do join in and read it with us - full details here).
The last book I was given: two parcels from publishers arrived on Friday, their contents The Shakespeare Thefts: In Search of the First Folios by Eric Rasmussen, "the true story of one man's global quest to find Shakespeare's missing works", and Falling Sideways
by Thomas E. Kennedy, "that rarest of commodities in American literary fiction, a novel about men and women at work; it is part satire and part drama, and it is very smart" (Washington Post).
The last book I bought: The Secret History, see above.
If you haven't already taken part in this yourself you're welcome to do so in the comments here, or give us the link to your own post so that we can see what books you have on the go.
The Double Shadow looks really interesting, looking forward to your review. I read The Secret History years ago and it kept me completely absorbed.

So far I'm loving The Secret History!
The Double Shadow is terrific, and in case you haven't seen it, there's a post on it now up and one today by Sally Gardner herself.
