I'm making an effort to keep track of paperback publication dates for books I'm particularly keen on as I think a lot of people will be glad to know when something they've perhaps had their eye on for a while becomes available in a more affordable edition.
Marika Cobbold's latest novel Drowning Rose falls into that category and appears in new livery today. It was one of my 'books of the year' last year, and my impressions of it are here. If you click there you'll see the original jacket design - out of interest, do you have a preference? I like both, though I do have a fondness for the first one, but they are equally fitting as regards the nature of the story.
I definitely prefer the teacup. It seems a far stronger image and would draw me to the book.

I remember reading Marika Cobbold novels in my early twenties, and enjoying them very much. This sounds very intriguing and I will look out for it.
