    ... Alison Morris!

    My thanks to everyone for entering the draw for a copy of Eowyn Ivey's The Snow Child and for taking the time to describe what for you are the particular pleasures of the colder months of the year - they make lovely reading in themselves.

    The trusty random number generator produced the number 49, which meant Alison's position as 49th. commenter (not counting Ruthiella who has read the book so didn't want to be entered) wins her the prize.
