Do you ever find it hard to decide what to read next?
I ask that because I often do, usually when I've just met a reviewing deadline and am suddenly free for a bit to read anything I want. I have a great deal to choose from - and thus you'd be forgiven for rolling your eyes heavenward and saying that I'm spoilt for choice - but it's finding the right book for the moment and the time I have available that can be tricky. I've spent ages today considering the options and as I write I'm still not sure, though I am toying with a re-read.
I was going to say that perhaps Alex's Book Jar is the solution for future indecision, but then it's not so much a case of indecision as of a simple search, scouring the shelves until the perfect book pops up.
Absolutely! It's worse when there's a whole stack that I want to read *right now.* I've found that reading book flaps and opening lines is usually what I end up doing. It never ceases to amaze me that with all the choices available on my tbr shelves, there are moments when a reread is all that will do. Happy reading - whatever you decide!

Yes my eyes are rolling! I have to go to the horridly stocked book store and wonder what's worth my $$.

yes, oh yes!I think that's my biggest problem. I want to read so many books that it's always hard to decide what's next. I think having an ereader has made it worse since there's easy access to tons of free and affordable books.

The worst time of all is when you have just finished a wonderful book and cannot bear the thought of reading anything mediocre.

Quick answer - No!
That's not very helpful of course, so let me briefly expand. I am not spoilt for choice, certainly there are only a few (10?) novels in my flat that I have never read. I have rarely had a desire to read anything "right now". Thus on any particular day I'll either pick something off my shelves and read it (perhaps it will go back after one chapter) or if it is a Saturday or Sunday I might go to our local library and select something, possibly at random. I cannot find the time (nor if I am honest the inclination) to spend all that long considering lots of options.

I am so excited at the very idea of a tbr collection that I am getting one for Christmas! Am clearing space on the bookshelves now... I read every book as it comes in the door. I am looking forward to this particular problem and will report back after Christmas.

I'm really struggling to find anything that I want to read right now. Not that I don't have a massive amount of choice because I do but life is busy and stressful and I just can't settle to any one book!
Very frustrating and most unlike me!
