Bargain of the day

One of today's Kindle Daily Deals is John Saturnall's Feast by Lawrence Norfolk. It was my top novel of 2012, and this post explains what makes it so special.

Among the current monthly deals for Kindle are The Outlander by Gil Adamson (another superb book - post here), and Neil Gaiman's wonderful, multiple prize-winning The Graveyard Book (post here).

Thoroughly agree on all three and I envy any reader coming fresh to them although I have to admit that I would prefer to read them as actual books rather than e-books as they are all 'keepers' for me.

Although I have both a proof and a hardback of John Saturnall's Feast, I bought the e-book as I like the idea of having it with me on my travels!
