I've said often before that I find the creative process in any medium quite fascinating, but the craft of fiction is of course of special interest, so here are a couple of posts on the subject, firstly from Kate Forsyth's blog where you can see the notebooks in which she planned The Wild Girl - and if you're interested in the gestation of a novel it's worth reading that one carefully - and then to Rosie Thomas's site for a short piece on publication day for her new book The Illusionists in which she likens the slow, deliberate work of the writing itself to certain less 'glamorous' pursuits!
There's more on writing and publishing in that section of the archive.
Ah we're both on the same topic today! Thanks for the interesting links.
