You may have seen Elizabeth Gilbert's great 'skybrary' (and by the way, the novel she wrote there, The Signature of All Things, is out in paperback now),
well here is the brand new first floor garden library at The Old Parsonage Hotel in Oxford.
It has an excellent collection of books (I had a great browse), and a roof terrace for tea or a drink al fresco,
and I'd say the hotel is to be commended for creating this secluded and tranquil place up above the busy Banbury Road.
And decorated in grey, too, which apparently is the new beige! But what a lovely room!

It is lovely, and I think all it lacks is a fireplace for winter!
