... tonight's Patricia Routledge documentary on Beatrix Potter, and all the more keenly in the light of today's news.
See also this article, and this one; and once again, I'll recommend Beatrix Potter: The extraordinary life of a Victorian genius, Linda Lear's excellent biography (which makes reference to the 'new' book).
What a super discovery! Good too that she left the painting of Kitty in Boots,it wouldn't be the same if we couldn't see how she imagined her.

I will definitely have to get to the Lear biography sooner rather than later now with this news!
I also know what my youngest granddaughter will be getting for Christmas - but only after Nonna has read it first!

With this being B Potter's150 centenary year a very useful "find" for the publishers. Really must read the Lear biography this year as I was intrigued by yesterday's news.
