O. Douglas postscript

Ursula Buchan, granddaughter of John Buchan, great niece of O. Douglas (Anna Buchan) has most kindly left a comment on my post of the other day - do take a look.

We had the pleasure of hearing Ursula speak at the Slightly Foxed Readers' Day a couple of year ago, and there's a summary of that excellent event here.

Such a lovely comment and how nice of her to share those snippets. I'm embarrassed to say that I've never read anything by O. Douglas but know there are a few short stories by her in my collections. Thank you for highlighting this author - I'm looking forward to reading her work, and how she's escaped my notice is beyond me.
