It's entirely by chance that we've had a flurry of Slightly Foxed posts in the last few days - I am not affiliated to the Fox in any way, purely a fan - but having flagged up the SF Best First Biography Prize a little while ago it would be remiss of me not to mention the winner which was announced last night and is, as you see above, Edmund Gordon's The Invention of Angela Carter.*
Just by the way, six years on from this post I am still no further forward Carter-wise. 'Twas ever thus.
*It also won the Somerset Maugham Award.
