William Boyd's new novel Love is Blind has gone straight to the head of my reading queue. It's set at the end of the nineteenth century, has a musical theme, and features a young Edinburgh man, Brodie Moncur. Here's the author in conversation with Waterstones' Will Rycroft:

I enjoyed the interview and the book sounds really interesting.
And to your reader Lisa, I'm glad to learn about Wild Mountain Thyme. I'm going to check out both of the books-yours and the book by Raife.
