After reading your review, I'd love to read this but Dorset Libraries don't have it! Tsk.

Cornflower

I hope they will soon - there is so much in it that should appeal to many interests.

Claire

I'm hoping that Perth Library has it and I'm about to put in a request. If not, I feel a purchase coming on. Sounds fascinating and inspiring. Thank you.

Cornflower

You're welcome, Claire.
Perth Library really ought to have it given that - as I'm sure you'll know -JB was born in the city!!

Claire

I didn't know and, no, they don't have it! Perhaps I should send them an encouraging email....

Cornflower

Worth a try!

Nan

I just loved reading this. How lovely to read about a truly nice person. Thank you.

Cornflower

You're welcome, Nan. JB does come across as a very good sort indeed.

Nora

I recently purchased a library card to access the collection at our local university (Queens). As I was browsing their Rare Book site I noticed they have a "John Buchan Collection" which is quite extensive and includes original bound manuscripts and his entire personal library. Of course I thought of you as soon as I saw mention of the collection. I will include the link here if you are interested. Click on 'more information' to see a typed checklist of items in the collection.

That's marvellous, Nora, thank you so much!
