Elizabeth Goudge, The Little White Horse - such a joy!
I keep hoping and looking for Elizabeth Goudge in our local Oxfam bookshop.......no luck so far, but I shall keep looking.

Good luck with your search, Jane - it took me many years to first pick up an Elizabeth Goudge book but I'm so glad I did as each one has been a delight.

I still want a tower bedroom like Maria's but have made do with a kitchen window ledge filled with salmon pink geraniums!

I tried to buy some the other day - completely inspired by the book - but all they had were red ones and white. I shall keep looking.

For some reason salmon pink geraniums are more difficult to find some years than others - no idea why.. Only found mine this year at one stall at a local market so I am going to have to take cuttings this year as well as see if I can overwinter some of the plants.
The Little White Horse is my current bedtime reading and I am utterly under its spell once more!
