Diane Setterfield; a new-to-me-author who I discovered via this book. Have now read all three she has written, every one most enjoyable.

I did love Bellman & Black as well, but I think the 'sweeter' tone of this one is a particular delight.

Yes, I read it six months or so ago and it it is still in my top five of the year.

The audiobook read by Juliet Stevenson is just lovely. I rally enjoyed it. Thanks for another great recommendation.
