I've read both authors ages ago.Never could find the latest Sue Gee after that. I know they both would be very good. Enjoy the books.

What treats you found! I loved "Giving up the Ghost" and, as I know you loved "Trio", I am sure you will love this too. I read it many years ago and it has stayed with me.

I enjoyed Giving up the Ghost a lot. She is such a clever writer. I live near Hadfield, Derbyshire where she starts her remarkable story and when she won the Booker prize I think the local paper had one of those hilarious headings “ Local author wins the Booker”. Hadfield was satirised in The League of Gentlemen television series. In fact I think it may have been its finest moment.
