I heard Dame Esther Rantzen on Radio 4 just now putting in a request to the powers that be to temper their current output with a little light relief in the shape of Martin Jarvis reading Just William or anything by P.G. Wodehouse* - I'd second that!
As to other tips for maintaining equilibrium or managing stress, my friend Heidi recommends the 4-7-8 breathing technique.
P.G. Wodehouse is my hero for bringing me laughs and smiles, and needed today more than ever. I will third that! even though I live far away, in California.

Hear, hear. I can't read a William book now without 'hearing' Martin Jarvis reading it to me. Wodehouse is always welcome.

Martin Jarvis has made them his own!

Something does need to be done to lighten the mood and I would like some re-runs of Victor Borge to make me laugh.
Thank you for the link to the breathing exercise, I shall try it but I am notorious for failing at breathing at all times.

I've just watched a couple of clips of him on Youtube and had a very good laugh - thank you!
