Love the diversity of your selection; not unlike my own when I listed my year’s favourites. With my local library closed for much of the past year I have delved into my TBR much more and had some great reads. As ever I am noting several here to add to my ‘most wanted’ list.

It was an odd reading year, no doubt because concentration and reading 'impulse' was affected by external events, but I had some welcome re-reads and some good discoveries, and my appetite is sharpened for the year ahead.

I loved The Long Weekend when I read it a couple of years or more ago, but it is physically a heavy book because of the glossy paper on which it is printed. But a very good read nonetheless.

A bit late to the party but thank you for your Christmas and New Year messages which I belatedly (!) reciprocate.
I am reading the Eagle of The Ninth at the moment and loving it. And I have The Silver Branch waiting, a treat in store.
